The brothers of the Abbey of New Clairvaux are a community of Trappist monks living a life of contemplative prayer and work.  This abbey belongs to the worldwide Catholic Order of monks called the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance.

    Join Us For Montastic Experience Week

    MAY 13 – 17, 2024

    We invite young, single, Catholic men (ages 18-35) to experience a weekend here at the Abbey of New Clairvaux. Full room and board in our guesthouse (meals included) with no required fees.     MONASTIC EXPERIENCE WEEK 

    MAY 13 – 17, 2024

    This week-long program is geared toward single, practicing Catholic men (ages 21 – 40) who seek an experience of the contemplative life of the Church through monastic prayer and work.  Participants are invited to join the monks in choir as they chant the praises of God throughout the day.  Also, the opportunity to participate in the daily monastic manual work serves to balance out a life of prayer. Room and board is offered in our guesthouse with meals included.  No registration fee required but references are requested.  Fill out the registration form below and we will contact you.  This program is limited to 4 – 6 participants.

        Living Monastic Wisdom – An Summer Immersive Experience at the Abbey of New Clairvaux

        A monastic immersion program for single, college-age men who desire to experience the fully daily rhythm of manual work and prayer of the monks.  Weekly conferences on the Rule of Saint Benedict and reflection allow for opportunities to deepen one’s spiritual practice.  Duration:  30-day minimum commitment to 90 days during the summer months (June-July-August).
