Are you a single Catholic man, aged 18-36, seeking a deeper connection with God? The monks of Our Lady of New Clairvaux Abbey invite you to immerse yourself in the ancient yet living tradition of monastic life and prayer for a life-transforming MONASTIC WEEKEND
Participants will be able to:
· Join the monks in the historic Abbey Church for Holy Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours
· Receive insightful conferences on ‘How to Pray’ from contemplative monks
· Experience a monastic work session
· Enjoy the peace and beauty of the Abbey grounds.
· Share a meal with the monks, and more!
*We welcome bilingual participants; the retreat is conducted in English.

5:00 PM: Welcome / Orientation by Br. Christopher

6:15-7:00: Supper (all meals in St. Luke’s Dining Room EXCEPT Sunday noon meal which will be in the monastic Refectory)

9:15 – 10:45: Manual Work Experience (Meet in front of Ranch Office)
11:00 – 11:45: Conference on Prayer by Fr. Thomas (meet in Guest Library)
12 noon: SEXT
12:25 – 1:00: Noon meal in St. Luke’s Dining Room
1:00 – 1:55: Siesta
2:00 – NONE: (mid-afternoon prayer in Church)
2:15 – 3:00: Conference of Prayer by Abbot Paul-Mark (guest library)
3:00 – 5:15: Personal prayer time
5:30 pm: Common Meditation period in Church

6:15: Supper in St. Luke’s Dining Room with Abbot, Novice Director and the brothers in initial formation

A monk is available for individual meetings any day during the weekend; those interested may sign up to make an appointment time.
